What Low Water Pressure Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to low water pressure inspections and repairs arranged with Connecticut Plumbing Pros. Work may include checking pressure, tracing visible supply-line restrictions or leaks, and repairing or replacing agreed-upon pressure-related components.

The written estimate or work order defines the specific tasks; work outside that description requires a separate agreement. We do not include concealed damage, unrelated plumbing, restoration, or utility and public water-system work unless stated in writing.

Permits and code requirements depend on the job. Work will be handled by an appropriately Connecticut-licensed plumbing contractor, and required permits must be obtained under the Connecticut State Building Code and applicable plumbing provisions.

Cross-connection work must follow relevant Connecticut Public Health Code requirements. Drinking-water work may also be subject to applicable EPA Lead and Copper Rule requirements.

Questions about public water systems may involve the Connecticut Department of Public Health or Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Customers must provide safe access and disclose known hazards.

Appointment Changes and Arrival Planning

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Connecticut Plumbing Pros. We will confirm the planned visit and any known access needs; an appointment time is an agreed service window unless we specifically confirm an exact arrival time.

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellation charge or other consequence must be disclosed and agreed to before it applies.

Someone authorized to approve the work should be available, and the work area should be accessible. If we cannot safely reach the plumbing, or a site condition prevents the scheduled inspection, we may need to arrange another visit.

If testing reveals work beyond the estimate, we will explain the proposed change and its effect on scope or cost before proceeding. No additional work is authorized merely because it may be useful; customer approval is required, except where immediate action is separately authorized to address an urgent safety concern.

Written Estimates and Payment Approval

An estimate describes the work Connecticut Plumbing Pros expects to perform based on the information and access available when it is prepared. Hidden piping conditions, inaccessible components, or new findings may change the work required.

We will explain any proposed change and obtain approval before doing work outside the agreed scope. An estimate is not a charge for unapproved additions.

The estimate, work order, or invoice will state the applicable price and payment timing. Payment is due as shown in that document; do not assume a deposit, payment schedule, or other arrangement unless it is written and accepted.

Customers are responsible for paying for authorized work and any separately approved materials or services. If a permit or inspection is required, related costs and responsibilities should be identified in the written agreement where known.

Raise billing questions promptly using the contact details below. No price, financing option, or payment term is created by these general terms alone.

Written Terms for Workmanship Coverage

Connecticut Plumbing Pros will perform the work described in the accepted estimate or work order with reasonable care and in line with applicable requirements. Any workmanship warranty, including its duration, coverage, and remedy, must be stated in writing for the specific job. These general terms do not create a particular warranty period or promise that water pressure will remain unchanged, since pressure can be affected by the public supply, other plumbing, equipment, and conditions outside the completed work.

Contact us promptly if you believe work we performed has a workmanship problem, and describe the issue so it can be reviewed. Coverage may not apply to damage or failure caused by ordinary wear, pre-existing defects, misuse, outside conditions, or later work by others, where permitted by law and consistent with the written warranty. Do not rely on an oral statement that changes written coverage; ask for any agreed warranty terms in writing before work begins.

Responsibility for Existing and New Conditions

To the extent allowed by law, Connecticut Plumbing Pros is responsible for direct loss caused by its failure to perform authorized work with reasonable care. Where legally permitted, our liability for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not waive rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived, and it does not apply where prohibited by law.

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, interruptions or pressure changes originating outside the serviced plumbing, or damage caused by another party, except to the extent our own work caused the loss. Work must meet applicable Connecticut State Building Code and State Plumbing Code requirements, including permit rules where applicable.

Contractors must hold the required Connecticut license through the Department of Consumer Protection. Cross-connection controls and drinking-water requirements apply where relevant.

OSHA lockout/tagout rules under 29 CFR 1910.147 apply only to covered work and circumstances; they are not a general residential plumbing rule.

Questions, Notices, and Future Revisions

For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Connecticut Plumbing Pros at (877) 773-0781 or [email protected]. Mail may be sent to State House Square, 90 State House Square, Hartford, CT.

Please include your name, service address, and a clear description of your question so we can identify the relevant estimate or work order. A written job agreement controls details specific to that work if it differs from these general terms, subject to applicable law.

We may revise these terms for future services by posting an updated version or providing it directly before work is agreed. The version provided for your service applies to that agreement; a later revision does not change completed work retroactively unless you agree in writing.

We will communicate material updates by making the revised terms available and, where appropriate, notifying customers directly. Contact us if you need a copy or clarification before approving service.
